3D-printed array of light sensors gets us closer to a bionic eye. Researchers at the University of Minnesota managed to 3D-print a light-sensitive array that clings to a domed glass surface and converts light into electricity, paving the path forward for scientists to develop a fully-functioning bionic eye. Even more impressive, the manufacturing process of this construct only takes about an hour. (Gizmodo)
